Piedmont Wines: Innovation vs. Tradition

60 Euro

Comparative tasting of Piedmont wines.

We will taste wines from two small wineries:
Famiglia Berta and La Biòca.

Paolo Berta’s family winery is located on the border between the historic regions of Monferrato and Langhe, where since 1842, on 10 hectares of the best vineyards, the Berta family has been producing wines for more than
7 generations, keeping the tradition alive.

La Biòca is not a typical winery in Langhe. On his 8 hectares of vineyards near Serralunga d’Alba, winemaker Igor Puscasu is involved in wine production, wine sales and agritourism.

Traditionalists with a rich history or innovators with individual character?

Which style of Piedmontese wine is closer to you?

We will discuss this during the meeting, where we will taste four samples from each producer:

  • Berta Dolcetto doc "Livroje" 2023
  • La Biòca Dolcetto D’Alba DOC Superiore Ricciaia 2021
  • Berta Barbera d’Asti DOCG Evolution 2022
  • La Biòca Adae Barbera D’Alba DOC Superiore 2021
  • Berta Monferrato Nebbiolo doc "Baticheur" 2021
  • La Biòca Sterma Nebbiolo D’Alba DOC Superiore 2022
  • Berta Nizza docg "La Berta" 2018
  • La Biòca Barolo DOCG Aculei 2018

The tasting programme includes 8 samples and light snacks.

The events are held in Russian for persons over 18 years of age.
