We are pleased to announce that enrolment for our new beginners' course has started.
You may have already noticed that interest in wine culture is growing rapidly.
Not knowing how to understand wine can be inappropriate, especially in a restaurant or wine shop.
There are many terms and obscure words that people use to describe their preferences in wine.
However, you probably find it difficult to express your opinion other than "delicious" and "unflavoured".
But that can be remedied! Attend six wine meetings at our school, and you will learn how to: — Tasting wines. — Choose white and rose wines. — Select your favourite red to suit your tastes. — To understand sparkling wines. — And most importantly, you will understand what wine to pair with what food. — As a result, you will learn how to serve wine properly and receive a wine school diploma.
Wine lectures will take place in a cosy atmosphere in the heart of the business centre of Riga.
Each meeting will feature six new wines, educational materials and a great atmosphere.
Time: Wednesdays at 18:30 (3 hours per lecture) Location: Andreja Pumpura, 3 (entrance from the courtyard).
