Dear friends!

WE ARE RECRUITING A GROUP FOR THE GERMAN WINE SCHOOL.

If you are interested in wine, like to try new flavours and want to learn more about German wines, then I invite you to my lectures, where we will immerse ourselves in the world of German wines.

This is a wine course where you can immerse yourself in the world of German wine.

You will learn about the culture and history of winemaking, explore the country’s wine regions, taste around 30 different types of wine and get comprehensive information on each topic.

Wine Production of Germany

History of winemaking, geographical features, classification of local wines, and main local grape varieties.

German Wine Regions (Part I)
May 8, 18:30
In this lecture, we will discuss the characteristics of the lower Rhine regions, namely: Ahr, Mittelrhein, Mosel, and Rheingau.

German Wine Regions (Part II)
May 15, 18:30
The lecture will focus on the regions of the central part of the Rhine Valley: Nahe, Rheinhessen, Pfalz.

Other Regions of Germany

During this meeting, we will get acquainted with the less popular regions of Germany, where many interesting wines are also produced according to their traditions with an individual character. We will try to gather samples from such regions as: Hessische Bergstraße, Baden, Franken, Württemberg, Saale-Unstrut, Sachen.

Examination
May 29, 18:30

Final meeting: theoretical test, blind tasting, and diploma awarding.

On each lecture, we will analyze the specifics of a particular wine region, the classification of local wines, talk about the main grape varieties, and taste 6 wine samples.

Each participant will receive a workbook with maps and materials on each topic.

Time: start at 18:30 (duration of one lecture is 3 hours)
