We will get to know the wines of the Tenuta Barone di Serramarocco estate, whose founder Don Juan was elevated to the rank of first Baron of Serramarocco in 1624 by His Majesty King Philip IV of Spain and Sicily, in recognition of his valiant fight against the black plague that was sweeping Sicily at the time.
The estate is located on the west coast of the island, at the foot of Mount Erice in the heart of the DOC Erice wine route, on plots at an altitude of 350 metres above sea level, which are known for being particularly suitable for growing grapes since time immemorial.
We will learn about the history and philosophy of the house, their approach to producing wines of the highest calibre.
